Orangery Lodge

This project brief was inspired by the stunning Orangery wedding venue which is next door to this beautiful building.

Aimed at honeymoon couples, I wanted to touch on the botanical feel of the Orangery as well as the history of the voyages taken from this part of the coast.

 

With this in mind, a map of the world dominates the lounge for couples to plan their lifetime of adventures together.

Hues of burnt orange and muted greens permeate throughout; the textiles bring in botanical colours and images and a four poster bed and separate dressing room for the bride all add that special touch.

Outside, the tiny walled garden was redesigned to create a viewing platform where you can while away hours watching all types of vessels heading out or returning from their latest voyage...
