Living the dream…

Chloe is not only a new team member at The Upcycled Home Co, she also now resides on the park, so I thought it would be nice to get her impression of her new surroundings.....here's what she had to say.....

The park is a haven away from the incessant hustle and bustle of a highstreet or city.

Pace of life is slower, and with that comes a sense of ease and inner peace.

The calmness of the surroundings here is reflected in the attitudes of the staff at Mount Edgcumbe; they are never too busy to offer a friendly smile or pleasant word when they see people enjoying the beautiful space that the park provides.

Community - that's the heart and soul of this place. It's something I've experienced in droves since moving here last month. The people genuinely care, and it's plain to see and experience.

The Upcycled Home Co is not only a fabulously zen and inspiring place to work, it also continues the community feel through the beautiful items and artwork on display and the customers who frequent the space.

The whole park exudes creativity, expression, freedom, and a foundational Cornish pride that is infectious - it pulls you in and makes you want to be a part of it.

As a resident and a visitor beforehand, I can attest that when things feel overwhelming, all you have to do is take a walk through the trees to the sea or say hello to the alpacas - Landy, Lusty, Henry and Harry - and you reconnect with nature, oneness, and that sense of inner peace.

It's a magical place to be and I can't wait to become immersed in the life here.
